Burt's Visit to Arizona January 2008

The group I hiked with to the Clanton Ranch. I thought I was pretty fit having hiked up Miller Peak but this group shamed me. It was power hiking.

Most are women. I think they hiked their spouses to death!

Elizabeth was a good person to talk to, the one in the lead. She loves the Patriots unlike everyone else in Arizona (pictures by Gary)

I was looking at a house to buy in Arizona, this one comes with fresh milk and steak.

I decided to hike Joe Canyon Trail. They do not really mean me?

This was a great hike to this point, plenty of views, no snow, no getting lost, can it last?

Almost all this is Mexico as I head down the trail. It decends 600 feet, whatever goes down, must come up though.

As you can see no one could possibly get through this secure fence at the border. The fence goes as far as you can see to the west but ends 1000 feet to the east.
