This is the path leading up to the monastery of St.-Michel, as you can see it has not become commercialized at all and there is plenty of room to walk around.

Wherever you went in France there were always Japanese tourists. Except I did not see any Japanese tourists in Normandy including the American cemetery..

Gas is cheap? Only 1.28? Well that is 1.28 Euro, so multiply 1.28 times 1.19 to get the dollar value and times 4 because it is 1.29 per liter.

This is a view from atop the Eiffel Tower, it is a good thing it was not too windy. As I tell my students, anything for the shot.

I tried to get a "better" picture but I missed their peak performance. Not uncommon in the parks in Paris.

We took a boat ride up the Seine, the people on the boat and shore cheered each other, I get seasick but I put on a brave front and dealt with the 30 foot seas.

Yet another castle, you have not seen too many castles pictures here because I got sick of them but I took this one because it is similar to the one I live in on Cape Cod. To those from Oklahoma that is ON Cape Cod, not IN Cape Cod.
